We're all alone in this galaxy We lost our way, back home Such a tragedy I'll miss your eyes when you're trying Tonight let's find a way to keep on fighting We're in between stars Interstellar We're drifting apart Interstellar We're in between stars Interstellar We're drifting apart Interstellar We're Interstellar We're holding on to gravity Our love is turning cold We're drifting I'll miss your voice when you're lying Tonight let's find a way, stop resisting We're in between stars Interstellar We're drifting apart Interstellar We're Interstellar We're in between stars Interstellar We're drifting apart Interstellar We're Interstellar We're drifting apart We're drifting apart We're drifting apart We're drifting apart

about

Natalie Walker and I wrote Interstellar together for Chance of Lightning. The song is about a relationship that is slowly “drifting apart.” Two people who were in love once, now feel alone even when they’re together. Slowly moving apart from each other, but moving closer to where they’re meant to be in the process, and toward their “stars.” A futuristic play on jumping between solar systems, and trying to find where you belong.
